Už se vám někdy stalo, že jste se s kamarádem dohadovali, kdo zvedne na benč víc vzhledem k svojí tělesné váze? Pokud ano, tak právě vám mohou pomoci Wilksovy tabulky. Řekněme, že vy vážíte 75 kg a na benč zvládnete 100 kg. Váš kamarád váží 90 kg a zvedne 110 kg. Kdo zvedá víc vzhledem ke své váze? Použijeme přepočet podle Wilksovy tabulky:
- V tabulce najděte koeficient pro svoji váhu. U 75 kg je to 0.7126. Tímto koeficientem nyní vynásobíte váhu, kterou dokážete zvednout, což je v tomto případě 100 kg. Vyjde vám 71,26 kg.
- To samé udělá váš kamarád. Takže u 90 kg je to 0.6384. 0,6384 x 110 = 70,22 kg.
Teď už stačí jen oba výsledky porovnat. U tohoto příkladu vidíte, že i když zvednete nižší váhu, tak vzhledem k vaší hmotnosti zvládáte víc.
